Hello , guys.. I am currently CC student and got a admission letter from UCLA with 4.0 gpa Econ major..

Recently, I found out that I should complete spring courses wth getting all A.

It requires that I have to finish 19 credits with getting all A.

Generally,If we are admitted from UC, we are required C or better,, isn't that right?? One my friends also got in UCLA with same gpa with me, taking both courses and his provision admission contract was required minimum C or better for spring courses.. If I have a course end up with B, would it be hard to be a UCLA student officially?? One more question,, I am taking Biology 101 class and it was choosed as P/NP (pass and nonpass) should I report this course? because it is not based on letter grade.

======below is my contract..=================

To be officially admitted to UCLA for Fall 2009:

You must request official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions you have attended be sent to Undergraduate Admissions and Relations with Schools by 7/15/2009.

You must complete a minimum of 93.00 transferable quarter (62.00 semester) units with a grade point average of 4.00.

You must complete the following course(s) with a grade of A or better:
ECON 221, ENGL 126, MATH 193, BUSAC 186, BIOSC 101 & PHYS

If you fail to meet this provision, your admission will
be subject to cancellation, and you must also contact us
immediately.

Transcripts of all college/university work complete through
Fall 2008 must be submitted by 06/01/2009.

I would call admissions. Just so you can get an answer straight from UCLA. If the person on who answers doesn’t seem sure of themselves call a different day or send them an email just to be sure. Its better to be safe then sorry. especially in this case.

This is the path I took: Decision site>View Admission Contract

“Maintain the grade point average and complete the courses and number of units you reported in your application and in any subsequent course updates. You must be in good standing at your last institution of attendance. Also, if you attended another UC campus in regular session prior to enrollment at UCLA, you must have been in good standing when you left that UC campus. Notify our office immediately of any withdrawals, incomplete grades, drop in academic performance [including any D and F grades], or other changes to your class schedule. [See Contacting UCLA section.]”

I don’t see anything on mine that cites a specific GPA or grade in any specific course other than not receiving any D or F’s. Am I looking at the wrong area?

“I don’t see anything on mine that cites a specific GPA or grade in any specific course other than not receiving any D or F’s. Am I looking at the wrong area?”

Each person has a different contract.

And damn you’ve got a hell of a contract. I wish you luck in keeping those grades up. You were probably on the borderline for acceptance.

hey i have a 4.0 in business economics, and my provisional contract is the normal one, maintain your current academic g,p.a let them know if my grades drop (D,F) etc. But if I get a B my gpa drops…since its a 4.0…does that matter? Should I just call them? Is a B worth reporting in the case that i get one?

That’s a terrible contract. UCSC and UCSB said I just have to pass with a C or better in my remaining classes. I’m not sure if Berkeley wants me to maintain a certain gpa or not. I feel worried…
