Tranfering to UC Berkeley / UCLA / USC for civil engineering

Ok...so im at a Community College right now

my current GPA is 3.85

i want to transfer in Civil

what are the average GPA accepted for a TRANFER to these schools...

what are my chances?
i have actually been interning for a civil engineering firm. This will be my 5th year with the company..(i started freshman year). i have worked on big projects and actually have had many projects with my name on it.

and also...what other GOOD school would u guys recommend

I'm a little lost with the math here. 5 years with the company since Freshman year, meaning you've been in community college for 5 years? Why would you transfer whereas you can pursue higher degrees (Masters/PHD)?

Also, many public schools offer solid engineering programs such as Texas, Illinois, Purdue, Wisconsin, Michigan and more.

UCLA gets a LOT of transfers into Civil Engineering. Your current CE internship is also a plus as far as assisting in research for one of the professors.

The average GPA of students admitted to UCLA School of Engineering are: Chemical (3.76); Computer Science & Engineering (3.79);Electrical (3.71); Computer Science (3.74); Mechanical (3.68); Civil (3.73); Aerospace (3.77); Materials (3.74).

Here is a sample 4 year program for CE.
Civil Engineering Curriculum

Since you have already interned, you probably have a good idea as to which electives you are interested in adding in. The quarter system allows you to fit a third more electives into your schedule than the semester system.

Also, if you keep your gpa above 3.5, I believe, you can take graduate level classes as an undergrad, and thus get your master's degree that much faster.

Good luck to you!

hahah...no i have been working at the civil engineering firm since freshman year of highschool. im in my sophomore year at a JC right now.
