Transcripts are due by June 1. Does that mean I should send them in a week in advance or would it be okay to send them in 1 or 2 days prior to June 1 since they may not arrive to the school by that date.

They must arrive exactly on June 1st, otherwise your admission will be rescinded.

@RamonaFalls Are you serious? I thought UCLA would just be a hold on your account.

I almost got rescinded for late transcripts at Berkeley. I would suggest sending them ASAP if you can. But they’re willing to work with you on it. The scary “your admission will be cancelled in 5 days” email really isn’t fun at all, but at least you get some time to fix it instead of automatically losing admission.

Better safe than sorry

Isn’t Berkeley’s due July 1st?

@JewBacca: Berkeley’s is due July 1st, but I think UCLA wanted it June 1st.

That doesn’t even make sense. For me, my grades from this semester won’t even be available for over a week and I still have to get igetc certified. I am glad I picked Cal lol.

June 1st is for your transcript up to fall 2013, July 1st is your final transcript.

I called UCLA and the lady said it just needs to be postmarked by 1 June…

I spoke to a UCLA rep about this, they said if you have sent it and it has not yet arrived, you can order it again, and bring in it yourself. Just notify them.

@toughtulip and @tik1127, thank you. You just saved me a phone call!
