I've recently been accepted into CSUF and was wondering do I still need to send my 7th semester transcript? On my "To Do List" it says to send in final high school transcript but previously, before I was accepted used to say "send in 7th semester transcript". I'm a little confused because I've heard different things and don't want to be late in sending in my transcripts. Thanks

@Aboukir- I had the same situation happen to me. Yes, you do need to send your final transcript with your 1st+2nd semester grades all over again if you want to enroll for fall 2014 at CSUF. The reason behind sending our 7th semester transcripts was because we either had to show proof that we were “conditionally exempt” from either the English/math placement test or we did not pass the self reported evaluation. You can find more information about this on their website under freshmen admission requirements etc.

@2vivie thanks! So should I send in my 7th semester transcript as well as my final transcript?

@Aboukir- it’s required to send the final transcript only if they request it to you and if you want to attend CSUF for fall 2014 or Spring 2014? I’m not sure if you are a incoming freshmen or transfer student. You do need your 2nd semester grades to show up before sending the transcript. You should send them and no problem!

@2vivie I’m sorry, I’m still a bit confused! I was admitted as a first time freshman on January 14th. Before that, my to do list told me to send in my 7th semester transcript ( which I never did). But now after being admitted, it says I need to send the final transcript! I’m worried that I might not get my 7th semester transcript sent in on time and have my admission revoked

@Aboukir- It’s okay, it’s a very confusing process, but you do have the due dates on for the 7th semester transcript right? Last time I checked the transcript should be due somewhere this month on the 20th something. I can’t remember what exact date since I had my high school send my 7th semester transcript with my 1st semester grades around February 13th. I think you should send whatever is requested on your to do list now. If the 7th semester transcript isn’t on your to-do list anymore, call the admission office and see what happened. Do you have to take the placement tests for math or English? Are you exempt from the SAT or ACT? or conditionally exempt?

@2vivie thank you so much! Yeah, I’ll call the admissions office on Monday to find out about the transcript. I got a C- in calculus and they say you have to get a c or better in that class in order to be except from the math placement test so I’ll have to find out about that as well. I have to sign up for the English test though, so hopefully I pass it!
