Hello,
So, my high school is officially screwing me over! X(. Basically, does an AP American Political Systems class exist? No! right! Anyways, so I'm taking AP U.S. Government and Politics and is the true AP class, my school is reporting to the UC A-G requirement, however, my school is listing this class as AP American Political Systems because it is too lazy to change the course title to AP U.S. Government and Politics. I've already asked my counselor and she believes it's not a big deal, but I think it kind of is. My entire senior class has reported this class as AP U.S. Government and Politics on our college apps and now the school is basically screwing us over by putting the WRONG course title on our transcripts. Such is not right and should be corrected, but my school is not budging. So, what should I do now? Am I overreacting? Should I leave this issue and let Cal review the transcripts in June and decide to rescind me or not or what should I tell Cal? How should I explain this situation? Please help! :)

As long as the LETTER grade that you received from the course is the same as what you reported on your App, you don’t really have anything to worry about.

But, the course is what I’m taking during my senior semester :)

I am just giving an example of what would be a big red flag in the admissions office :)

Oh ok:) Thank you so much and I guess admissions will understand afterall other ppl from my school who are going to Cal have the same mistake too :)

You genuinely need to calm down about this being rescinded thing (I think this is your 3rd post about this). You are not the first kid to go to a UC school from your high school and you are not the last, they know what they’re doing and your counselor knows what she’s doing, it is her job! You seem to completely misunderstand why certain students get rescinded.

Yeah…what dina4119 said…you’re a bit neurotic…try to relax because this isn’t good for you. It’s especially not good for you if you’re like this and you didn’t even go to UC Berkeley yet…in the long-term, worrying about every little thing is very bad for your mental health. Just relax, you’re not going to get rescinded just because of something minor
