Transcript question

Hi everyone, I just submitted my applications, and it shows you the PDF preview and I could see my GPA and class rank in current semester classes, but I didn’t see my transcript anywhere. How can I be certain my counselor uploaded my full high school transcript ? I see a checkmark next to school report, but the preview upon submission did not show any sort of transcript. Is that normal?

It should be normal. You could check your school’s website to see if they put transcript as part of the school report or ask your counselor is transcripts are included in there or if it needs to be mailed separately, etc. Otherwise, most colleges will email sometime after you submit your application with a link for you to create an application portal, and on there it will typically show a checklist of required materials and whether or not the college received it. If it shows a checkmark next to official transcript, then bingo, it was part of the school report. If not, inquire with your school counselor and the college about their policy.

You don’t get to see anything your counselor uploaded. Since counselors and recommenders don’t have to submit until about a month after applicants (for most schools), it won’t show up on the application pdf.

If the college sent you a link to the application portal, you could check that to see if there’s a green check mark by high school transcript. If there is, there’s nothing to worry about. If not, then I would talk to your counselor again to make sure he/she sends it.
