Transcript Question

I'm a senior applying to Michigan this year. I moved to Michigan from Ohio after freshman year. I've been at the same school for sophomore and junior year and will continue at it for senior year. My question is, do I have to send in my transcript from the high school I attended in Ohio? Because Michigan doesn't look at freshman year grades, do they need it anyways? I wanted to call the UGA office, but today is Labor Day so they're obviously closed.

YES, YES, YES, do it! I transfered to a different HS in my junior year and my counselor at my new HS told me not to worry about sending in a transcript from my previous HS. Guess what, she was wrong. I had to email UM in Dec to find out they wanted the transcript from my previous HS. So send it in now rather than later. Better safe than sorry.

Yes, you should it. Even though Michigan doesn't count freshman GPA, they still need to look at your overall curriculum.

what about if you are dual enrolling and you dont have a transcript b/c you haven't finished your class yet?

Okay, I called Michigan this morning. They said as long as my new transcript lists all my freshman year classes, not just a GPA, that will suffice. My new transcript lists all of my classes and grades, so I am fine.
