I'm very concerned here. I didn't realize I had to submit my saddleback transcript to berkeley because it was just a dance class I took that was a non uc requirement and is on my high school transcript. Anyway, now I am in a serious hurry. I had saddleback mail it over on friday but Berkeley still says they haven't received it. Who should I contact that directly deals with transcripts? I'm blocked and pending cancellation. I need to get this taken care of immediately so I don't loose my lasa and cal scholarships and my school acceptance. I have called many people who have been of little to no assistance regarding this situation. So if you have a contact that deals directly with the transcripts, I would really appreciate it! Thanks

I know you’re very concerned, and I feel for you. But posting the same question in multiple threads is not cool.

My son was in a similar boat a few weeks ago. He sent the question and the reminders to the “official” channel at UCB. It took 3 or 4 times but someone did get back to him and he was able to straightened it out.

Sorry. In my frenzied, and very stressed state, I accidentally posted it twice when all I mean to do was change the title. Truthfully, I feel that no harm was done by the mishap.

Would you mind sharing with me who your son contacted. I am desperate here and would appreciate all resources and contacts. You never know who might be able to offer greater assistance.

I was in the same boat few days ago. Did you receive a notice of pending cancellation?
You can find out exactly who is your admission adviser in the bottom of that notice. That being said, I believe you can just call the Admissions office and give them your student ID. They would be able to tell you who you should contact with right away.

When I called my admission adviser, she gave me a special mailing address that would send to her attention. She received my overnight mail the next day and released my block instantly. I would strongly suggest that you request a new copy of your transcript to be sent to your adviser’s attention too.

It has been almost a week and supposedly berkeley still hasn’t recieved it. I have called the contact posted at the bottom of the pending cancellation notice twice and both times they have just said to wait and just check myberkeleyapp. Considering that it has been sent twice and that I’m still blocked and have so much riding on this, I’ve been freaking out. Waiting until the last minute when there isn’t a chance to do anything further about it just isn’t my idea of a productive situation. Would you mind sharing who your contact was because maybe they can help me further. Thank you so unbelievably much!!!

My son contacted his admission adviser. He had to send two or three reminders, each a few days apart, but finally she got back to him.

I’m not sure I can/should post the adviser’s email address on a public forum. I don’t think it would be any better than you contacting your admission adviser anyway.

It was a saddleback transcript and they didn’t offer anything besides their priority mailing which insures that it got out the day I called and should have been 3 days in the mail. At the very worst, Berkeley should have recieved it on monday
