Transcripts & Orientation (UCLA)

So the deadlines for sending in transcripts for all community college courses taken through the fall 2008 term is coming Monday (June 1) for UCLA. Now, theres going to be no way to send it by then. What are the consequences of sending them in late?

As far as I can tell (correct me if I'm wrong), that transcript info is for the Degree Progress Report (something that the counselors use for Orientation). If I'm not going to the Orientation, what happens...? I fall under UCLA College of Letters and Science so I don't believe it's necessary for me to go.

i was about to start a new thread, but i hope you don’t mind if i add on to yours.

for transcripts:

does that mean you have to send one after each semester if you’re planning on taking classes even through summer? to say it another way, do I have to send my official transcripts now, again after spring, and yet again after summer?

your fine, just try to get them in asap. its just a date for students to get them in faster. I’m not going to orientation either, since its just another way to get my money haha

Yeah… I heard you get to sign up for classes during the orientation. Does that mean anyone who DOESN’T go to the orientation get 2nd priority or something?

(if thats the case, what about athletes/veterans who have priority registration and cant make it to the orientation?) <— myself being one of them!

you should really go to the orientation since you get to talk to the counselors and sign up for classes! all the good ones might be taken if u dont go. and plus, you get to meet your peers who you will be competing with for the next 2-3 years. mingle and everything, it`ll be fun!
