I’m in the 11th grade and I want to know exactly which school reports I’ll have to send. I’m also an international student and my school doesn’t do gpa. How would that affect me?
My school also doesn’t calculate GPA.
What I had to send in were the grades from every high school level course I took. (This started in 8th grade for me in terms of math and a language.) So, you’ll most likely need to send in the end of year grades for all of the classes you took in high school and at a high school level.
If you’re taking any sort of AP or IB course, you can (but aren’t necessarily required to) send in your AP/IB scores as well if you think they will help your application.
The fact that your school doesn’t do GPA will not hurt you at all; colleges can calculate their own GPA for you if they need to when they see your grades.
For regular decision applications, you will also need to send in your mid-year grades from senior year to the schools you’re applying to, and at the end of the year, you’ll need to send in your end of year grades to the school you plan on attending.
Good luck with admissions!
