<p>I am an Indian student. High schools here give report cards at the end of the year. Should I send in the Photocopy of the card or should I go ask my Principal to print out a transcript? Can anyone please tell me what format does a transcript have?</p>

<p>And I dont want to send in my 1st term marks :D So should I ask my Principal just to include the final exams marks?</p>

<p>Well you can ask if your Principal agrees to it.</p>

<p>There are lots of Indians around here. They might be able to respond better.</p>

<p>Universities/Colleges in the US definitely require "sealed" transcripts from your school. I dont think format matters. They pretty much understand all kinds of systems, gradings and so on.</p>
