transfer 07

To transfer into Oberlin:

What kind of GPA do you think they'll expect from a transfer applicant?

I'm not going to apply for fin aid, will that help?

Oberlin admissions isn't especially quantitatively-oriented, so your first question sort of misses the point. You need to have done well in your first college, but there isn't a cut-off number.

And no, your financial aid status doesn't make a difference to your chances of being admitted. The admissions people don't know your status when they decide.

cool so Oberlin is need-blind even for transfers? I know Vassar College is need-blind for first-year applicants, but it admits to NOT being needblind for transfer applicants.

How is their financial aid for accepted transfer students though?

Financial aid for accepted transfer students is exactly the same as for anyone else: the full need (as measured by FAFSA) for all accepted students is met by financial aid.
