<p>Does anyone know UMich's exact transfer rate? Or, on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the most competitive) how competitive is transfer admission? Is it harder for students tranfering from out of state?</p>
<p>Also, I'm planning on applying for transfer from the west coast, and I know that schools such as USC prefer students to transfer as sophomores rather than juniors. Does this apply to UM, as well, or do they prefer junior transfers? And finally, how heavily does an applicant's intended major weigh on the admissions decision? </p>
<p>An answer to at least one of my questions would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.</p>
