Transfer Advice

I am currently a nursing student at Binghamton University looking to transfer to Villanova University. I’m a first semester freshmen in the class of 2022. Now for some background Villanova has always been my dream school but due to our financial situation my parents wouldn’t let me apply while I was in HS (I know this was a mistake). Since then however, our financial situation has drastically changed. Now my grades at Binghamton are not awful but Im worried they won’t live up to the Villanova standards. I have around a 3.3 currently. I know it says that at least a 2.75 is needed to be considered for Villanova’s school of nursing. I don’t feel like a 3.3 is good enough. I am also in the honors college here and I don’t know if they take the honors classes into consideration as those are the ones that are hurting my GPA. So I have a few questions; should I apply before I officially get my college GPA at the end of the semester and just use my high school GPA? I have to apply by March but the earlier the app is completed the better it looks. I had a 94 GPA in HS with a 1330 on the SAT. Does it look worse if I apply before I get an official college GPA or would it help since my high school one is much better than my current college one? Also do they factor the honors classes into the decision?

Any advice on this is greatly appreciated since time is running out and I need to make a decision soon.

The problem with transferring is losing credits. You’re already at a good university you can afford. Right now I don’t see a problem. Nursing is a field that’s in high demand, so it really doesn’t matter which school you attend. All you’re doing is paying more for a bachelors degree. It’s like paying $60,000 for a Toyota Camry.
