Kinda funny cause they said they weren't going to allow anymore transfers :)

Lucky! I didnt put Porter because they said we couldnt be a part of it : (

I got Cowell though! That was my number 1! : )

Cowell was my second choice, thats cool though.

I got Merrill, which was my second choice

I got 10 and it was my 4th choice!!! Oh well. As long as I live on porter I guess. I don’t know what I would write in an appeal other then the fact that I really wanted to be in kresge.

You will love Porter. The dorms are all brand new and the dining hall/cafe are all new too. Totally beats anything else on campus.

Cowell, my number one choice :)

Where do I see my college affiliation? I’m looking on my.ucsc.edu and can’t find anything.

I got Cowell, which was my number one. :]

Crummy: I found mine in the housing packet that the mailed out via snail mail. I’m not sure about online. Sorry.

I’m happy to hear a transfer got a Porter affiliation! I was so concerned when I heard the rumor going around that they weren’t going to allow it.

As a mini-rant, though, I’m more than a little annoyed than I was before at the transfer community location. It was supposed to be the upper division building, but then we all got pushed out because of transfers needing the space. And there are a good number of Porter students who are being relocated to other colleges because we have no more space for them in B building (transfer community is in A building) and the apartments ):

Not the transfers fault, just poor planning on the part of whoever decided this change for next year. We all found out last minute there wouldn’t even be one floor given to upper division students like we’d been promised months ago.

That said, all of you transfers living on campus better take incredibly good care of A Building ;)! It will be just finished being renovated by the time you guys move in and it would be nice for it to remain nice looking for quite some time.

I’m in Merrill, which was like my fourth choice.

I managed to find out my association on the Student Housing website.

Cowell! Sounds like a bunch of us got it, too.
