ok, so im wondering this for a friend who wants to tranfer to UCB after his first yr, he will be attending a private school outside cali, and does not live in cali. anyways, my friend showed me the app for transfer students and it has little check boxes to which kind of applicant and i saw the "sophmore transfer" which means fewer than 60 semester units. but i thought that 60 was a requirement? so anyways i was just wondering if that was possible. srry if it already been answered back on pg 75 of this thread or something lol, i just didnt see it haha...thanks for the input!!

No I believe its still a 60 unit requirement.

60 units is the requirement to transfer. I believe under rare circumstances they will accept sophomore transfers if you were already accepted to the school as a freshman.

No, AND it is typically more difficult to be accepted as a student already attending a 4 year college/university, not to mention out-of-state chances are also slim. =/

^ Yeah, pretty much double jeopardy for your friend.
