Hi guys, I’m currently a sophomore at Miami University of Ohio and I have been liking it here. Starting from my freshman year, it went horrible because many of my friends rushed and I didn’t, so I made some new friends but I still didn’t feel like I belonged there. I wanted to transfer then but I decided to give it another try. Then sophomore year came and I made lots of new welcoming friends. First semester sophomore year was probably the best so far because after so long I felt like I was thriving for a while. But then second semester hit, and everything seemed to start to fall apart again. My friends didn’t invite me to thing anymore and I started to feel alone all the time. Other then first semester of my sophomore year, I haven’t really been feeling I belong or fit in here. The one time I did feel like I belonged and fit in for once, it was only temporary. I’m not sure if I would stay and give it a third try for junior year, or transfer to a different college ( Ohio state of u of cincy). I mean Miami u wasn’t even my first choice, so I understand why I would feel like I belong here, but at the same time I’m only half way done and I still have two more years to go. For these next two years I at least want to be in a place where I’m happy and I’ve just been needing a fresh start, but I’m not sure if changing schools at this stage is worth the money and time.
Also the deadline are approaching so there isn’t much time left to make a decision.
