Hi, I am hoping to transfer to a top university from community college for Fall 2010.

I have a 4.00 GPA in college, and a 3.92 in high school. (ECs are strong, have good recommenders, etc.) I have never taken the SATs before and took them in December, out of the 4 free scores I sent, one of the recipients was Cornell University.

However after I got my score I did not like it:
CR: 630 M: 790 W: 610

My writing and critical reading score is terrible... I don't think they look at writing... It was stupid of me to submit my scores because I did not carefully read their admissions policy, standardized test scores required if "SAT or ACT if taken previously". So I was not required to submit scores.

Do you think I should try to contact Cornell before applying and ask them whether they can disregard my sat scores before I submit my application. Or should I leave them as is, and go ahead apply?
