Transfering to Cornell, should I send my SAT score?

So, I have already decided to transfer to Cornell from my current college.
I am now a sophomore studying Computer Engineering.
My current GPA is 3.96 ( with 1, B+ and 2 A-, and lots of A+).
But my SAT is not really good: V:580, M:780, W:610. I took it once two years ago.
As an international student, I also took IBT once two years ago with a grade of 99.

I am wondering if I should send my SAT to Cornell, will that hurt my chance?
Thank you

LOl, we’re in the same boat. I have an excellent GPA but I didn’t do too hot on the SAT. It’s really going to hurt me…

good luck

i would like to know too, i have a 3.69 from nyu but only a 2070 on my sat i think we should submit since i heard not many people get in without submitting

Hey, Do you guys know how can we send our grades through college board? I mean, it has been two years. I don’t really remember my password to log in to the test organization

depending on what college you apply to within cornell, you might be able to get away with not sending your SAT scores. the contract colleges don’t require them, but the private ones do. so OP, you probably would be sending them because you’d either be applying to COE or CAS, right?

I wouldn’t send anything below 2000. Cornell doesn’t require SAT from transfer students.

I have the same question as juliuszhang, how do we send SAT scores via collegeboard??

if your HS transcript has them officially record on it, you don’t have to send it in again. otherwise, call up college board and give them your SSN or whatever and they’ll send it once you pay to have it sent.
