<p>I am in the process of my application for transferring. I was wondering if the transfer application question of "What are your reasons for transferring and the objectives you hope to achieve" should be written in an essay style or should be written as more of a story? I know for my freshman application I wrote it as more of a personal narrative. I just wasn't quite sure.</p>

<p>It really depends on what your strengths as a writer are. If you feel like an essay would be stronger one way, write that. </p>

<p>If you really don’t know, write one of each, and read them out loud back to yourself in the mindset of an admissions officer.</p>
