Hello everyone, I recently applied as a Psychology major at UCR. I only have 2 classes left to complete my requirements, but I have been thinking about my situation and figured that I really enjoyed my biology and genetics classes much more. I am now therefore debating whether to instead complete the required General Chemistry, Biology and Calculus courses at my CC(which will take about a year) and then apply to UCR this fall.
In short summary…. Is it better to finish those sciences at the community college and apply as let say a neuroscience or cellular biology major, or to transfer as a psychology major and try to finish the required math and sciences at UCR so that I am able to switch majors as a junior?
