What if I apply as like a Physiology & Neuroscience major?

I'm a bio major currently and I have been taking allt he pre-reqs necessary as a bio major. But I was looking at the classes that a Phys.& Neuroscience major has to take at a CC in order to transfer to UCSD and the bio portion is WAY easier. If I applied as a General Biology major then I would have to take 4 biology classes to transfer but if I applied as a Phys/Neuro then I would only need 2. Everything else is the same though (gen chem, o-chem, calc, physics). But the Bio makes it easier to finish.

So let's say I do that. What difference does it make? Does it really matter? Hell now that I think about it, if I apply with just about anything other than General Biology (but still as a Bio major of some sort) the process is way easier. But what happens once I transfer? Wouldn't I still be taking the same upper division classes that I would take as a General Biology major as I would if I was a Microbiology major?

It's not like I would be applying with something I hate, they're essentially the same thing to me but I just noticed this and it could really save me some time if it works out the way I hope it does. I never really thought about why I'm applying as a General Bio major, I like Bio but I don't know why I just landed on General Bio.

anyone?..

Metabolic Biochemistry (BIBC 102)

Genetics (BICD 100)

Two upper-division biology labs to be chosen from the following: BIBC 103, BIBC 105, BICD 101, 111, 123, 131, 133, 145, BIEB 121, 165, 167, 179, BIMM 101, 103, 121, 127, BIPN 105, or 145.

The upperdivs are quite different.
Take a look and base your decision off the comparison.

ah okay now i see. thanks.
