Hey !

I am a transfer student with a major in mathematics wanting to know my chances of getting into Wellesley.

I have a 3.4 GPA and my high school GPA was 3.83 (unweighted). I graduated two years early from high school and was always a year in advance for math and english classes. My extracurricular activities consist of student gov, two honors societies and a huge resume of volunteer work, including having my own organization for 4 years that sends books to Africa.

I know my GPA will hurt me but I hope it will not affect my chances greatly.

Also I wanted to know if anyone applied to Smith and Wellesley and what made them choose Wellesley in the end. As a transfer student, I would have to start over and make new friends, and I wonder if people at the school are very inviting to newcomers??
