<p>According to CMU's Common Data Set for Fall '07, 77 of 578 transfer applicants were accepted (13.3%). So yeah, it sounds somewhat selective but not ridiculously so like the Ivies.</p>
<p>Depends on what college. Your chance to Tepper would be 0% as they don't accept external transfers. SCS and ECE would also have extremely low (single digit) acceptance rates.</p>
