I'm planning on applying to temple university and Drexel University for fall '10. What would be my chances of getting into the business school? I'm going to have 57 credits for sure by the time i apply, and 69 by the time im actually done with the spring semester and i'm currently a sophomore in CUNY Baruch btw. I'm most likely going to have a 2.86 gpa by the time i apply and believe me it is an extremely UNDERRATED GPA. Let me explain, ive had an extreme and i mean EXTREME upward trend, really speaking without one terrible semester i would be above a 3.0 student. my first semester of college-fall '08 after 16 credits i had a 2.18 gpa (D in calculus really killed me along with a couple of history classes), then in spring '09 i really bounced back with a 3.1 gpa and another 16 credits. took a summer bio class didnt do so well on it-C. and as of this semester i got a 3.34 gpa and im also taking 1 winter class on top of that. I know the gpa's kind of low but i want to get into the business school and i've had an internship and a part time job helping my mom in running her company. I want to get a degree in entrepreneurship and i know temple has a top 5 program. please chance me!! Also if anyone wants to reccomend any more schools they think are great for entrepreneurship in NY, Massachusetts, NJ, Pennsylvania, and Conneticut, I'll gladly take suggestions

make that 54 credits by the time I apply and 66 by the time im done with the spring semester

Your chances of getting into a decent business school are pretty much ZERO. Business school undergrad is highly competitive, and your present GPA is just too low.

@ apatel, you really need to get your GPA up…2.86 is kind of low for a good business school. You can always try though. Good luck!

hey guys just wanted to let everyone here know that i DID GET ACCEPTED and that a 2.86 does qualify me for some universities
