transfer chances at tufts

<p>I'm currently a freshman enrolled at a top 20 university and am a bit unsure if I really belong here. I applied Early Decision a year ago, and now thinking back I think I did so for rather stupid reasons. Anyways, I was deciding between my current university and Tufts for ED and I think I made the wrong decision.....soooo do I have a chance to transfer?</p>

<p>HS Stats:
GPA: 3.83UW; ranked 19/960
ACT: 32 Composite
SAT II: 710 US History, 680 Math II
ECs: Good--Varsity Soccer, EIC of Newspaper, Club Soccer, Volunteering at Library, Various other smaller clubs; Awards and what not in most activities </p>

<p>College Stats:
Fall 08 GPA: 3.75 (17 Credit Hours, normal for my school)
ECs: Club Soccer, Student Newspaper, Student Radio Station, more lined up for next semester</p>

<p>I think you have a good shot. Your standardize tests are very good and your GPA, I think, is good for Tufts. Just make sure you make your essays as specific as possible because Tufts does not want students who just happen to apply to the school because of its ranking but rather it wants students who know about its programs and whatnot. Also, don't worry as must about ECs, the ones you have are good and if you can get maybe one or two more leadership positions in that's fine but don't sacrifice your GPA for ECs because the GPA matters the most.</p>
