Transfer chances for Stony Brook's undergrad economics program?

I want to transfer to SBU for the Spring semester and so far I have a 3.48 GPA with 25 credits at NCC. I've read on the transfer admission website that the minimum requirements are 24 credits and a 3.0 GPA.

If you have exactly 24 credits/ 3.0 GPA does that guarantee admission into the school?

Are there any specific requirements if I want to major in economics?

Also does it matter how many math credits I have in order to transfer into the economics program ( I just have 3 credits from NCC, MAT 101 a logic math course) ?

And my last question is will I be rejected because I don't meet the specific math expectation for prospective transfers?

It’s not about the credits, it’s more about the SPECIFIC courses you’ve taken. If all you took at Nassau was “fluff” courses like intro to Roman studies, or intro to dance, and all you have is 25 credits, it’s not wise to apply. On the other hand, if your 25 credits are courses like Physics 1, Calc 1, English composition, Chemistry — you know, core courses, then you might just get in.
