A quick rundown of facts and short stuff so you guys get the jist!
I’m currently a freshman at Emory University with a College GPA: 4.0 (18 Units will be overloading with 22 Units next semester) , SAT/ACT : 2350/35, High School GPA: Supbar around 3.7 UW

Essay (Reason for Transfer): Emory didn’t offer the program I want to major in so I want to transfer out.
Colleges I’m thinking of are: Harvard, Duke, and Columbia!
I know Ivy leagues are hard especially 1-2% for Harvard so its literally a luck of the draw but I was wondering if anyone had anymore advice or tips!
There is not a lot of stats on transfer applicants other than it’s generally even harder than the regular admissions process. If you really want a different program, I would apply to a wider range of schools. If you think you can make Emory work, and you just want to shoot for the stars, go for it.
My guess is that you’ll need something more than good grades and test scores to get in. (i.e. stronger extracurricular, or something you excel at, an invention, business you may have founded, published research, tour of duty, etc…I mean- those 3 schools are tough.
