<p>In high school my grades weren't very good. I took all AP's and honors courses but I was pretty much just a "B" student "as well as the occasional C or A". I didn't focus on my gradess enough becasue I was invovled in an intensive swimming program. Weighted GPA 3.9 ... unweighted 2.9 ish?

Year long exchange student to Germany on a full scholarship, during my Junior year of high school. Attained Fluency in German, I wrote on my application if accepted to UVA, i would like to be in the German House "an all German speaking dorm."

I sent a second semester mid-term report to UVA, I had a 3.66 "even though they didnt ask for it." I thought sending my mid-terms atleast couldn't hurt.
Good recommendations, including one professor who cited I had the highest grade in "General Business" out of 60 students.</p>
