Transfer Chances, MA schools

Crossposting this in hopes of getting some more feedback. :)

======

I'm entering my graduation term at a South Florida community college and aim to transfer up north (preferably MA) after receiving my AA...

Desperately seeking some advice regarding my chances at the following schools:
Wellesley (top choice)
Mt. Holyoke (top choice)
Smith
Amherst (long shot, I know)
Boston University

Major: English/Political Science
Possible Minor: Philosophy

My stats:
Biracial female (Indonesian/White)
20 years old

HS: did not graduate (compelling reasons)/GED recipient
HS GPA: 3.66 (Honors and AP student; Honor Roll/High Honor Roll)

SAT I: 1) 1390 (V800 M590) 2) 1360 (V760 M600)

At Community College:
Entered in August 2003/Graduate May 2005 (finished AA program early)
GPA: 3.88
Coursework: rigorous. 15-19 credit load per semester. Chemistry, Biology, Calculus, Statistics + poli sci, english, other humanities courses. (I didn't softball despite the fact I'm an English major!)
Grades: Straight As excepting two Bs in non-major subjects (Math/Anthropology).

Extracurricular @ CC:
Student Government Association: Secretary, Vice-President (Fall-Winter 2003-4) (250+ volunteer hours)

Phi Theta Kappa (Honors Society): Chairperson (various committees), Secretary, recently elected President, Editor of official regional (Florida) newsletter (elected office) (200+ volunteer hours)

Strongly involved in college affairs (serve as student representative on collegewide committees, etc.)

Other accomplishments while at CC:
All-USA Academic Team Nominee
Awarded English Department's Honors Award (1 recipient/entire campus)
State poetry award (First Place)
Outstanding member award (Student Government)
Published author (lit magazines)
Dean's/President's List

I can write strong essays and I have excellent recommendations from high-level faculty and admin (Deans and Dept. Heads)... I'll be leaving CC with my AA and a surplus of credits, so I'm hoping admissions will place more weight on my college achievements than on my high school record.

Hmm, just got my grades back for this past semester. My GPA's a 3.9 now. :)

Comments/advice would also still be very much appreciated.

SAT I: 1) 1390 (V800 M590) 2) 1360 (V760 M600)

Woah... 800 VERBAL AND 590 MATH!!! WTF YOU STUDY OUT OF FOR VERBAL!?!?!?!??

I'd say you're fine with BU
I would also expect you to get in at Mount Holyoke and Smith

but thats' all based on friends I have who go to their schools - their stats were MUCH lower than yours and they're all there. Good luck. Still apply to all the schools though and don't be disapointed if a "safety" rejects you - sometimes with transfers they simply don't have enough room etc. It's always a gamble. But MA (Amherst and Boston) is a great place to go to school!

lol, I actually didn't study for the verbal at all... Either time.

lizze: thanks for the feedback! MA is my home-state (my family and I moved down south when I was 6); I'd love to go back!

I know this whole transfer thing is a gamble... Honestly, it's so nervewracking. But, hope for the best, prepare for the worst -- that's my motto (as morbid as it may seem ;P).
