<p>Currently enrolled at Oakland University.<br>
1st Semester GPA: 3.35</p>
<p>My goal for 2nd Semester GPA: 3.6</p>
<p>Overall GPA (Hopeful): 3.47</p>
<p>I didn't really take extremely hard classes, just requirements and such.</p>
<p>I'm almost certain they will ask for my 2nd semester grades. Your thoughts?</p>
<p>I applied janurary 1st and ya they are probably going to ask for 2nd semester grades. They will want to see you finished your WRA requirement. As well as to see that your maintaining your GPA.</p>
<p>My application went under review again because they said they couldn’t admit me at the time due to I had to finish my second semester WRA.
I took the class as well as a couple others and I got a 4.0. I have a 3.2 GPA overall and still waiting for a reply. </p>
<p>They will probably make you take the class before they can accept you.</p>
<p>I’m currently taking the WRA Requirement now so. I guess they’ll wait.</p>

<p>@jarfish8792 What exactly did they say? like you have to submit your grade for the class before being admitted? I am taking the class right now so once I finish in April I already have my transcript being sent over.
@LineDrive2013 I think your GPA is fine mine is a bit above that and I’ve heard of kids getting in with about the same or lower.</p>
<p>Have you heard back from MSU yet? I have just applied as a transfer from OU as well, and am curious on how long it will take for me to hear back…</p>
<p>@Natmar as a transfer they told me its going to be more or less the 10-12th week. I am in the 10th week right now. so they have to tell me by April 1st. I will post when i get a response. But i suppose they will just ask for my WRA requirement and then accept me in May.</p>

<p>@LineDrive2013 I called them today regarding my application status, it has been over 12 weeks and they had looked at my transfer credits for 3 days and that it would take a month for the council to look at my application. They also told me that anyone who applied should expect an answer more like their 19-20th week after submitting their application.</p>

<p>Tell me about it man, when they told me it was going to be another month I was about to jump off a cliff, I mean really? How is it that it takes that long?</p>

<p>I’m pretty sure MSU should ask for my 2nd semester grades, they asked for my friends final grades and he only got a 3.0 first semester.
I should hear back tmrw with their decision, its been about 10 days since my app has been “under review”.</p>

Dude your’re lucky that your portal has said under review for 10 days mine has said that for 6 weeks now. I am at week 17 in my application. My final grades are being sent int his week. But I have never heard a word from them on what i should be doing. I know soon that they should know an answer or have more room because all those May 1st enrollment deposits were due. So alot more room should be freeing up soon. But I think your fine when it comes to grades, I have pretty much the same grades / situation as you.</p>

My college GPA is 2.94 at Ithaca College(small school in new york) </p>
<p>I am Hispanic, apparently this is a very big deal. I wrote my essay on how I feel I could bring culture to the state community. I applied in high school got differed and never sent my second semester grades. Will that affect anything? Think I have a decent chance of getting in as a media and information (ba) major. My major at my school is Emerging Media Computation. Although I wouldn’t be too far along the requirements(is this an issue?). </p>
