Transfer chances! please help!

HI, im new to cc so i dont really know how this works.
I'm a County College student from sussex county NJ, and im looking to transfer to these schools (in order of preference):
NYU (stretch)
Fordham
Drew University
Rutgers
Drexel University
George washington U (stretch)

Im a poli sci major looking to go into law and politics. My gpa as of now is a 3.5. and it will probably get better because i set up my schedule full of classes that are in comfort zone which i know i could ace easily. (government, law, poli sci 2) so i expect to have around a 3.6-3.7. by the time i must be ready for transfer, im in my sophomore year. i will have 43 credits in total, all of which i know wont transfer, but im willing to cut my losses for the sake of getting in. My h.s. gpa was a 2.3 with no sats, so my only option was county. i know these grades are poor and im greatly ashamed of them, but the amount of family related problems i had through my hs years is absurd. So i went to county and ever since, ive been balancing 40 hours a week on night shifts and kept up my grades pretty well i think, and live on my own at 18. is there a chance any college would appreciate my story or do they just look for what is on paper? i would understand if they didnt, im just curious. Im also the president of both the schools Multicultural club and the Progressive student union. Im also a very active volunteer through the literacy program with uniter way where we teach people how to read and write, and also habitat for humanity. All of my essays this year were reviewed and documented by my colleges english board for future examples and also my english professor and philosophy professor are both willing to offer my "stellar" recomendations for the schools i choose. They are both Drew University Alumni.

Please give me an idea of where i would stand with these schools!

come on guys

please help

Im a senior and I have a 2.33 gpa jus as u did in hs. Im from california so idk if my cc is different from yours. However cal and uc universities are giving more chanches to cc students whilst cutting off or put on waiting list for those who are directly entering universities. I think you will have a great chance to transfer since you said your alumni teachers will recommend you. And that you have a passion for your career path. Goodluck. :)
