transfer chances

<p>I am looking to transfer, and I have applied to six schools, the schools being (from my #1 choice down)
1. Elon
2. SUNY-Binghamton
3. Auburn
4. University of Alabama
5. UMass (Amherst)
6. UMass-Lowell</p>

<p>My stats are as follows:
First year frosh at a private university, 3.35 GPA (may go up depending on my appeal on my English and Math grades)
I work 40 hrs a week at Abercrombie and Fitch</p>

<p>Highly competitive College Prep School, mostly Honors classes
HS GPA 3.4
1270 Old SAT (710V, 560M)
EC's: Captain of Varsity football cheerleading, 2 years Captain of Varsity Gymnastics, both teams top 10 in State
15+yrs of gymnastics, regionally and nationally ranked (although I'm not good enough to compete D1 Gym, and I don't really want to)
Tons of Community Service (Catholic school & all :] )</p>

<p>What do you all think?</p>

<p>bump. anyone?</p>

<p>bump. i'm surprised nobody can help me :(</p>

<p>You have an excellent chance at UMASS/Amherst- try to transfer to the commonwealth college/UMASS/Amherst-My S goes there and any student that makes use of all the resources comes out a winner- especially in terms of graduate school- it appears that not every student though uses the tremendous low cost resources of Commonwealth College- that gives you the edge!</p>

<p>is the Commonwealth College the honors college at Umass? Or is that the deal where you can go take classes at the other schools in the area?</p>
