<li><p>Moved to Canada at the beginning of high school which led to a tough transition year academically with the adjustment to a new system. I also believed this hurt my standardized test scores as Canada does not prepare for them.
I make it noted in my essays that while I feel this hurt me academically, the experience of such a diverse place (Toronto) was invaluable to my growth as an individual.
This is largely why I believe my numbers do not fully reflect my intellect.</p></li>
