Hi, I am currently in my second semester at Trinity College and am thinking about possibly transferring to UNC next fall semester. I had good high school grades at a highly regarded public high school (#2 in Connecticut), with a cumulative GPA of 3.95 weighted, with many varsity sports, extracurriculars, etc. I did not do so well on my standardized tests (1800 SAT). In my first semester at Trinity I received a 3.2 GPA, but this was lowered significantly by a pre-med bio class that I received a B- in. I also plan to play lacrosse for the varsity team this spring. What do you think my chances are?
Bump
Any thoughts?
Not a lot to go on here and I do not have experience with transfers. There are places in UNC’s websites/blogs that give profiles for transfer students, such as:
