Should have strong essays and recommendation....

I am taking a tough course load this semester, so hopefully that will help.

Anyone?.........

Bump......

How was Emory? What major were you? Why are you transfering willing to transfer to Georgetown?

I was looking at Emory's Undergrad business school and seeing how there ranking is higher then Georgetown's I was wondering why you would transfer.

Emory is a very good school, but when I decided to attend there, it was largely because of its undergraduate business school, which is ranked fifth in the nation. Since then, I have become very interested in politics, and have switched to wanting to be a Poli Sci/Gov major. Georgetown is one of the best places in the world to study government, and allows one to be able to learn about it in the class room while possibly holding a political internship at the same time.

I also have some issues with Emory's surrounding area. Emory is situated in a suburban, middle-upper class area, and being from a similar area myself, the idea of living and studying in a city is much more appealing. Yes, Atlanta is close by, but you won't find many Emory students traveling to Atlanta on any sort of regular basis.

If you are interested in studying business, you should DEFINITELY check out Emory. You have to see our business school to understand how impressive it is, both inside and outside.
