Transfer Chances

Hey everyone. Last year (my senior year of high school) I applied to U of I and was wait listed twice. I stupidly did not accept the wait list. (Lesson learned). I now attend Indiana University. I like it here but would rather be at U of I. I know no one really knows but the admissions people, but does anyone have any idea at the chances of a possible transfer? Maybe you have read that U of I is not accepting many transfers or they are or something, anything would be great. Note: I don't want people just telling me what i want to hear, but rather what they know and/or really think. I have already gotten my hopes up too much about switching and if anything I need people to talk me down. :-) Thanks for the help.

-I live In State (Illinois)
-Currently freshman at Indiana University(directly admitted to Kelley School of Business)

-High school GPA: 3.8 weighted
-ACT: 31
-Class Rank: Top 26%
-Was wait listed twice last year as a senior.

-Applying to LAS school under Economics major.

-Decent list of clubs and leadership, nothign outstanding however.
-IF my calculations are right, I shoudl have 30 transferable credits after freshman year (my current year) which would be right on par with 15/semester, if that means anything.

They accept nearly 1/2 their transfer applicants. Study hard at IU to show UIUC you can handle college work.

Just out of curiosity -- were you waitlisted for the business school at U of I?
Why do you want to leave Indiana if you are admitted to Kelley, which is an excellent business school? Is it a financial issue?
