If you are in Indiana right now, how are ou transferring into a college within the same school, thats not really transfering thats more like getting your major done.... unless im am missing something

Oh and if you wanna be in the banking workshop, it is required that you have a 3.5(I talked to the professor about it and he said "3.5 just to be considered").
So keep them grades up if you are only a sophy next year.

First of all, generally you don't transfer directly into Kelley as a sophomore--you have to complete a bunch of requirements and then apply when these are complete. You do transfer as a business major (with the concentration chosen--finance, accounting, entrepreneurship, etc.).

Also, it's not the banking workshop, it's the investment banking workshop--quite a big difference. Lastly, to get into the Kelley business school program requires a college 3.1 to 3.2 GPA or so with extracurriculars in various areas (leadership being the preference). In-state students can get in with a 3.0 GPA if they are transferring from another IU campus besides Bloomington.

Getting into Indiana University itself is quite a bit easier than getting into the business program at IU--Bloomington. To put things into perspective, the freshman admission acceptance rate to the university was around 70% last year, but the freshman admission acceptance rate to the business program was only 28%. And even almost all of these people still had to qualify for admittance into the Kelley business school (which allows you to take the I-Core business courses during your junior year).
