Right now I'm going to a university in PA (first semester freshman, in-state), major is undeclared. I'm looking to apply for the Spring of 2010, and I should have 36-39 credits by then, making me a sophomore. I figure my high school stats will come into play, so here they are:

GPA: 2.2
SAT: 1030/1590
ACT: 26

I know their minimum GPA for transferring is either a 2.0 or 2.5, but what would I have to pull to compensate for my high school debacle?

I'm not really sure what they look for exactly when you transfer but you seem to really need a good college GPA. Not trying to be mean, just helpful, but your high school GPA is really low and your SAT doesnt make up for it =/ However, your a college transfer so I'm not really sure if that matters anymore. Your ACT is pretty good though. You should call and ask but I think it'll just have to do with your college GPA and the credits you have. Good luck though!!

Do OOS Credits transfer?

It is getting increasingly more difficult to transfer into Florida schools, UCF is really the only school that has been accepting them and I heard that is soon to change. With your GPA I would say you need to get your AA first at the very least. Chances are slim that you can get in with those stats. More motivation to work at it!
