I'm going to be a freshman and applying as a spring transfer for 2010. I was waitlisted/rejected applying to bing this past year. Gpa 3.7 ACT 28 I think they have most of my stuff on file. Anyone? Is it easier to get in as a spring transfer?

I would imagine it would be, but I don’t have any concrete information on that. Might want to PM bingambassador.

I would make sure to keep your first semester grades up to at least a 3.5 if you’re going to another university/college and even higher if you’re going to a community college. Also, a piece of advice is to be in a leadership position in a volunteer club on your campus, good luck!

it sounds like you are planning to apply before you have even finished one semester?

yea lol is it bad do I even have a chance or no?

i think the admissions office may be the only ones able to tell you whether it is better to wait until you have a college transcript to apply as a transfer. if you apply in the fall you’d pretty much be applying on the same credentials you had when they waitlisted/rejected you (unless you did really well spring semester?).

also, just a suggestion – why not give the school you are going to be starting a chance? if you are too focused on getting new applications done in the fall you may miss out on finding out you like the place.
