Hi, I am currently a chemical engineering major at drexel university. I have just completed my freshman year and I am a rising sophomore. I got some ap credits and so technically I am in the middle of sophomore. I really dont like Drexel and its quarter system. So I want to transfer next year's fall. But my gpa is quite low and its only 3.08 I cant decide where I can transfer with such gpa. I also have a six months co-op in my transcript by the time I will apply. My target is University of Minnesota, UW Madison, Lehigh university. I know its almost impossible to get into this top schools with this low gpa. But I have a huge volunteering experience and my high school record is also good. I have completed 70 QUARTER credits( 28 of them were from AP). My gpa improved gradually. In first quarter it was 2.33, then 3.15, and finally 3.76. I dont know if it will help me a bit. Can you please suggest me where else I should apply?
Thank You

Since Drexel operates on a quarter system, you will have an opportunity to demonstrate your academic improvement in the first and second quarters of your sophomore year and the colleges you are applying to will be able to see 8 classes with good grades. I think you have a chance at the schools you listed. You may want to add U Maryland.
