<p>Does anyone have experience with transfer credit at Yale?</p>
<p>Yale doesn't accept transfer credits for any courses completed while you were in high school. If you take a course at another 4-year institution while enrolled at Yale, you can transfer up to 2 credits (you should check first with the DUS of the subject of the course you're taking to make sure they'll approve the transfer), and they appear on your transcript Pass/Fail, or something equivalent to that. I don't know what they do if you took the courses at another institution before transferring to Yale. There are some other caveats if you're fulfilling certain requirements with transfer credits... especially the language requirement (you have to pass some sort of test after you get back to Yale).
