if I dont go to school during fall and join cc at spring, will I still be able to join the TAG? since I joined at spring, will I graduate slower than others? I would finish fall at cpp but it costs too much and it is too far from my house. I heard that you dont get credit unless you stay for a year. Am I wrong?
You need to have a minimum 30 semester units completed at a CC to qualify for TAG but you will also need to fulfill all courses to maintain TAG eligibility (minimum 60 semester units) by Spring prior to enrolling in the Fall. Taking courses to fulfill TAG the summer before enrollment will not qualify. Most likely if you withdraw now from CPP, you will need to take some courses during Summer session to keep on track. You need to meet with a transfer advisor at your CC to plan out your schedule so you stay on track and can meet TAG eligibility in 2 years.
1 semester or 1 year will not make a difference as long as the classes you take at CPP are UC transferable. If you are already enrolled, then I would complete 1st semester at CPP. Again, can you list the classes you are taking at CPP? Also for TAG, you do have to have a major in mind to complete the required courses.

If you think you are going to fail, then you should withdraw and start at your CC in the Spring. Have you gone to office hours for these classes to get the extra help? How about the tutoring center?
id encourage you to talk to your prof and see what you can do to recover the grade before withdrawing
