Transfer - Dorm

Does anyone have an idea as to where I might be placed as an incoming transfer who is 25 years old? I will have about 40 credits after the transfer equivalency takes place so I believe I'll be a sophomore. I'm studying compsci if that helps at all.

Thanks,

I know they use transfers to fill spots in apartments when someone drops out. I would guess that they fill apartments spaces before dorm spaces.

current senior at RU who works in admissions. I’m going to copy and paste a response from an admissions counselor:

"The Housing & Residence Life Office has put together a new resource for transfer students interested in living on campus. Be sure to check out [Transfer Student Housing - Living @ RU - Rutgers Housing & Residence Life](http://ruoncampus.rutgers.edu/living-at-rutgers/transfer-students).

You might find it helpful to know as this website says that transfer students may apply to any housing type including apartments and suites and would share rooms with other transfer and continuing students. New transfer students should submit the housing applciation as soon as possible after accepting admission to Rutgers. Preferences for campus and housing type will be considered on a first-come-first-served basis."
