Hey guys,

I am a student from Austria and this is my first semester at a Californian Community College (Santa Monica College). Currently, I'm taking courses for two majors, Business Administration and Biological Sciences...
As a junior, I am trying to transfer to Berkeley. My high school GPA is different, since I'm from Austria, but my SAT is around 2300, which is pretty good I guess..

Now, I don't know how pursuing a simultaneous degree is working at Berkeley. I KNOW for a fact that I have to apply ONLY to Haas Business School and not to the L&S Dept for Molecular and Cell Biology.

Do I have to declare my DMajor or SimDegree as soon as I am accepted to Haas? And how do I make sure that I will also be able to get into the Junior Level for Biology, so that I don't have to go back to the second year...
Will my courses still count and transfer towards that Bio Degree, even though the were not evaluated for my Business admissions? Do I have to complete all major courses for that degree as well before transferring to Haas, even though I don't apply directly??

Thanks in advance for your advice,

Franz
