Hey all,
I honestly just want a moment of truth here in my chance of getting into Georgia Tech as a transfer. I’ll have my associates after this semester(spring 2017) with 67 Credit hours. Currently I’m taking Calc 3, Diff eq, and Physics 2 with calculus. All of which I have an A and intend on keeping as they’re pretty solid with only one month left. The catch is: I’ve seen multiple things through my research showing ME minimum of 3.5 GPA overall, and then another saying 3.30 overall. Should I get A’s this spring, I’ll have a 3.44. However my total critical tracking courses are a 3.67. Which is a C in Chem 1, the only one dragging me down. Currently I’m on hold for spring grades, which I understand.
The thing is in my early college “career” I had some trauma going on basically, causing my grades to drop to mostly B’s, giving my overall GPA as listed earlier. I’m not asking for redemption for that, rather that I’ve made Straight A’s for the entire last 3 semesters and managed to turn things around and was wondering if that speaks anything in an application.
Any Input is greatly appreciated!
