<p>hey guys, a quick question about the transfer essay.
I'm applying to Cornell's ILR but a bit confused about the whole process.
there's two parts, a personal statement that comes in common app and the academic interest essay that wants you to explain why u want to major in this at cornell.
I didn't want to repeat anything so i've decided to write about my personal experiences that lead me to be who i am now (didn't mention anything about the school, just ME) in my personal essay. is that okay or should i still talk about the school in my personal essay as well?
Oh, and it just said min 250 words so mine ended up being like 750. whole 2 pages.
is that considered too long??</p>
