So i'm looking to transfer to Florida State for the fall. Currently i'm a freshman at IRSC, but because of AP courses and my course load, i'm at 25 credits already. I'm currently an economics major but i'm looking to change that to business or music.
I applied last year as a freshman but was i was rejected. My High school GPA: 3.1. ACT: 25, SAT:1500. In all my classes currently, I have a 3.0 or higher. I have figured out that I will have my AA at the end of summer B. If I keep my grades up and get accepted to the college of music, what do you think my chances would be? I also have some achievements, such as leadership in high school, I came first in the state in the Stock market virtual game, and i'm and professional scuba diver. PADI Dive master, and can teach the basics of scuba diving. I know some of this does not really tie into academics, but I feel its something that sets me apart. Any input towards what you guys think my chances are would be greatly appreciated!

You should have no problem getting into the University with your AA. However, you will have to apply separately to the Music dept and audition in the Spring. You don’t mention any musical talent above. What is your instrument?

I play the saxophone. I come from the high school that one of the music directors at FSU once taught at, and i’m currently on full scholarship at IRSC under the previous chamber winds director of FSU. I sat as principal player in the top wind band and symphonic band which traveled to national events, and I was also an executive officer.

I have a D in the music program. Good luck with your audition!
