Alright, so I've been thinking a lot about transferring from Mcgill University to Champlain College (in VT. Happens to be most convenient for me to go here.).

I'm currently pursuing a computer science degree- the games option at mcgill, but somehow I don't think i'm getting where I want to be.

I want to be involved in the games industry, and I feel that Mcgill doesn't provide enough hands on or industry-like experience. And i'm pretty serious about wanting to work in this industry.
I know i'm enrolled in a good school in a great location , but Champlain College happens to have a good games programming/design program too, and has great internship opportunities. I'm wondering if anyone can give me some advice.

It's not just the program of study that's making me think about the switch. My first year was okay, but I've really not been able to flourish in the Mcgill environment. To be honest, i've failed a few classes in the second year too, which also may be making me think otherwise. I've had a very rough time, both mentally and emotionally this year for lots of reasons, so that's also a factor.

I keep flip flopping from wanting to stay because I'm at a good school, and its cheaper, to wanting to do a program that's very relevant. If anyone has knowledge of either programs, or has advice, that would be fantastic. graduating later doesn't matter to me, as long as i reach my goals.
