I’m a freshman at Northern Virginia Community College. VCU throws out high school performance and SAT scores for those who’ve earned at least 30 college credits.
So long as I maintain my A letter-grade average, what else should I work on improving before I reach that 30 credits and apply to VCU? Throughout high school and into this first year of college I’ve interned at several companies and have a good body of published works as a result. Would that help?
Hey you’re doing really great in my humble opinion and I think you’ll definitely be able to transfer to VCU. If you’re under a guarantee transfer agreement with VCU and you maintain the required GPA+course load then there’s no way you can’t get accepted, and with an A grade you’re probably on track. Make sure to meet with the transfer counselor maybe once a semester just to be sure. Even though you don’t need ECs under a guaranteed agreement, yours are very solid.
